Augrabies, Aloë Dichotoma
Picture taken in the Augrabies Falls National Park, late in the afternoon. This park is situated in the Norther Cape province and comprises the falls (main falls drop 56m into the 18km long ravine) in the Orange river.
The park has a harsh climate , average rainfall: 107mm, temparatures often 40 degrees celcius and higher.
The name of the falls derives from the Nama word for 'Place of Great Noise'
